Message from Chairman Punjab Region, Consumers Association of Pakistan

It gives me immense pleasure to extend greetings to all participants of the ceremony being held for the consumer choice award 2011. As a chairman, Punjab Region, I request all consumers to be aware of your strength and join hands with us to attain rights.
We are liaison with Provincial Consumers Protection Council and Consumer Courts to make sure that consumers are being provided with justice. Whenever we received complaints from consumers we try our best to re-dress. The members of Consumer Association, Punjab Region are working to expand consumers' culture within the province by establishing zonal offices.
I must take this opportunity to inform you that Punjab is the only province having taken a lead to promulgate Consumers Protection Act and where Consumer Courts are duly functioning with remarkable results I really appreciate and congratulate all award winners who are selected by consumers for their quality goods and services. I also admire CAP head office team for organising such a wonderful event.
