PIA-IATA diploma course initiated

In collaboration with International Air Transport Association (IATA), Pakistan International Airline has initiated diploma courses here. According to a spokesperson of PIA, here on Monday, the diploma will be awarded by IATA head-office in Canada after successful completion of course by the candidates.
Speaking on the occasion of completion of first batch of training, PIA District Manager, Nauman Munir greeted the participants and highlighted importance of this course with regard to the travel and tourism industry world-wide. He also congratulated PIA management, as the airline's office has been declared IATA-based authorised training centre.
Course co-ordinator and instructor, Ghazanfar Bashir thanked the participants and PIA Managing Director, Nadeem Khan Yousafzai, Deputy Managing Director, Captain Junaid Younas and Sohail Mahmood, PIA co-ordinator for IATA Training, for their efforts to arrange the course. He hailed establishing of state of the art computer lab with online training of reservation of ticketing. He said that PIA has established a complete unit of training here where marketing, IT and cargo based training is being imparted.
