Haqqani's counsel waiting for visa

Published Updated

Zahid Hussain Bokhari, counsel for Pakistan's former ambassador to US Hussain Haqqani, said on Monday that he was waiting for a visa to visit London. He said that if there was no positive decision on his visa application by Tuesday (today), it would be extremely difficult for him to attend the memo proceedings at London where Mansoor Ijaz's statement would be recorded through cyber technology on February 22.
Talking to Business Recorder, Bukhari said he would not be able to participate in one-to-one cross-examination at London in case the British High Commission did not take a decision on his visa application well in time.
