Police personnel escaped a terror bid when a bomb planted by unknown men went off damaging their vehicle in the precinct of PS Mir Hassan on Saturday. "Unidentified men had planted a bomb along the roadside and exploded it with remote control when the van of police patrolling party passed by the area," police sources said.
The blast damaged the vehicle however, police personnel remained unhurt. The law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area soon after the explosion and started search for the suspects.
