The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference in occupied Kashmir Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that conspiracies are being hatched to divide the Muslims in the territory on the sectarian lines by creating various institutes. The APHC Chairman addressing a gathering in Srinagar said, "We cannot tolerate such institutions. People who are devising new strategies to tarnish the Islamic fabric of Kashmir should stop their activities forthwith," KMS reported.
The Mirwaiz said that a new front was emerging against Iran and Pakistan and both these nations were like thorns in the eyes of enemies of Muslims. "Kashmiris are with the people of Pakistan and Iran. Our heart beat for them. We cannot distance ourselves from the developments taking place in these two countries," he stated. The APHC Chairman urged the Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) to oppose the sanctions imposed on Iran and Pakistan. "The OIC should also work for forging unity among the Muslim nations. Muslims are in majority in many countries but unfortunately they lack unity. Need of the hour is to shun differences and move forward for the common cause," he added.
