The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Board has approved the authorisation of inquiry against former IGP and ex-DIG of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) for accumulation of assets beyond known sources of income. The Board also authorised the inquiry against Chief Financial Officer of NICL, Saeed-ur-Rehman for misuse of authority wherein huge losses were incurred by placement of public funds in stock exchanges for investment.
