Hundreds of police pickets established at different entry points and other areas of the capital city have failed to check shifting of unknown dead bodies from other cities for what police official say dumping in the capital with the aim to subvert police investigation.
"The capital police in the current year has so far recovered seven unknown dead bodies from various parts of the city which the police reckons were murdered in other cities but dumped in Islamabad," police source said. These dead bodies were mostly recovered within the limits of Golra, Sihala, Shehzad Town, Bara Kahu, Sabzi Mandi and Tarnol Police Stations because of absence of police patrolling in these areas as well as large surrounding forest area, the police officials said.
Sources further added that Tarnol Police Station is known for receiving dead bodies of taxi drivers as car lifters kill them after snatching their cab. Police also recover unknown dead bodies of drug addicts from the limits of Sabzi Mandi Police Station, source said.
