Self-exiled Baloch leaders, Nawabzadah Harbiyar Mari and Bramdagh Bugti agreed on a 'Balochistan charter' to strengthen the Baloch nation. According to a private television channel report, the meeting between the two leaders held in Bern, Switzerland. During the meeting, the two Baloch leaders expressed serious concerns over human rights violations in Balochistan.
They agreed that the Baloch nation should unite at every level. Balochistan needed economic development which would come only in an environment of peace and tranquillity, free of exploitation, blackmail or duress from any source, they said. The two also decided to raise the issue of Balochistan on international level. The sources said that both leaders focused on the unity of Baloch people and would meet other tribal leaders of the province.
