The Institute of Public Health Lahore (IHP) with the collaboration of World Health Organisation (Who) has organized a one-day training workshop for school teachers on Monday. The main objectives of training workshop was to provide feedback to the training team at town level and polish their capabilities to act as Master Trainers for dengue prevention and control set up.
Speakers said that the vector responsible for dengue. They pointed out the misconception had about the adoptability of variation in the life cycle of the aides' mosquito.
The persons who had attended the workshop included Dr Babar Alam, Who Operations Officer Punjab, Dr Rubina Sarmad, Head of MCH Health Department, Amanullah Zaigham, CDC Officer Punjab, Liaqat Ali Malik, DEO Lahore, Dr Anjum Razaq, Head of IT IPH, Dr Ejaz Qureshi, Environmental Officer IPH, Dr Rabia Arshad, Head of Public Health Practice IPH.
