Power projects for SMEs: SCCI talks to German firms

Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) on Monday invited power generating German firms dealing in alternate energy sources to discuss small scale power projects for SMEs set up in Sialkot.
Representatives of German firms gave presentations on solar based technology for small scale projects which attracted the attention of the members and different questions were raised by the prominent businessmen about cost and life of these projects.
President SCCI Naeem Anwar Qureshi said power projects required huge capital investment and they would be for looking investment from German investors in these projects. Head of the delegation Carsten Aschoff said that they would contact German investors to invest in power projects for Sialkot. It was also decided that in the next step possibility of partnership would be discussed in this regard, said a press release.
