Wheat rates lower on grain market

Falling trend was seen on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in process of subdued trading, dealers said. On the cereal side wheat old and new Bardan lost Rs 40 to Rs 2650 and Rs 2665, other commodity items retained the overnight levels, they added.
On the rice sector only one change was witnessed as the Irri-6 Sindh shed Rs 10 to Rs 3050-3140 in process of slow trading, they said. Prices on the grams and seeds sectors did not move sharply due to falling demand by retailers, they said.
