A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry, which was hearing the constitutional petition filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan regarding voters' lists, on Tuesday directed Secretary ECP to prepare a comprehensive report pertaining to the voters' lists.
The Supreme Court (SC) has also instructed the secretary to attach Imran Khan's constitutional petition along with Benazir Bhutto's petition.
Khan's lawyer Hamid Khan, while giving arguments, said that the ECP was supposed to complete the voters' lists by December 16, but it has not even tabulated the interim lists so far.
Chief Justice in his remarks said four retired judges and chief election commissioner are working in the ECP who are capable members. Later, the hearing was adjourned till Wednesday.
