Proposed PSDP 2012-13: P&D Division reviewing financial recommendations

The Planning & Development Division is in process of reviewing financial recommendations for budget allocation in the next PSDP 2012-13 pertaining to importance and progress achieved on the projects so far, it is learnt. The projects would also be monitored in due course of time and recommendations would be made to make sufficient allocation to complete the projects without wasting any time or due to cost overrun.
Ministries/divisions have been requested to provide the following information on the projects under their administrative control.
i) Projects completed during first half of current fiscal year ie 2011-12 (1st July-31st December 2011) and projects likely to be completed during 2nd half (1st January-30th June, 2012).
ii) Significant milestone achieved in projects implementation.
iii) One page brief on latest physical and financial progress of all on-going projects reflected in PSDP under your Ministry/ Division. It has been requested that all the concerned quarters dealing with the PSDP projects may be directed to furnish the requisite information on the prescribed proforma (enclosed) by February 20, 2012.
