Three killed in separate incidents of violence

At least three persons lost their lives in separate violence incidents at various parts of metropolis here on Friday. According to police sources, a man was shot dead at Sher Shah near Lyari Express-Way in the limits of Sher Shah police station. The incident took place early Friday where Fareed Khan, 35 son of Saeed Ahmed Shah was targeted by armed riders when he was going along with his cousin Saleem in a Taxi at Atma Pritum Das Road near Lyari Express way.
Resultantly he received four bullets and died on the spot. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico legal formalities. Police said the victim was the resident of Sher Shah Urdu Bazaar and was working in fisheries. Police said the victim, who hailed from tribal area of Khyber Pakhtoonkwah, might have been killed over personal enmity. Later police handed over his body to the heirs. Police registered an FIR 19/12 against unidentified men on the complaint of his cousin Saleem.
In another incident, a teenage boy was gunned down near Samama Shopping Centre at main university road in the limits of Mobina Town police station. The victim Mohammad Irfan, 16 son of Mohabbat Jalbani a resident of Godhra New Karachi, was assaulted when he was standing near Samama Shopping Centre at main university road Gulshan Iqbal. Resultantly he received bullet injuries and died on the spot. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico legal formalities. Police said the victim was the class 10th student and at the time of incident he was on the way to meet his friend. They said the victim, who hailed from Larkana Sindh might have been killed over personal dispute. Later police handed over his body to the heirs.
In third incident, a 30-year-old Ghulam Sakhi, son of Mohammad Sakhi, was targeted outside his house located at Super Market Super Highway in the precincts of Sohrab Goth police station. The incident took place at Super Market near Ganna Mandi Super Highway where some unidentified men called the victim outside the home and opened indiscriminate gunshots on him. Resultantly he died on the spot. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities. Police said the victim used to run a general store in said area where he resided while the motive behind his murder was yet to be ascertained. Later police handed over his body to the heirs.
