Zonal Chief Conference: ZTBL President for provision of services to farmers at doorsteps

Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) President Roohi Raees Khan has advised all the zonal chiefs to ensure the provision of all the bank services/products to the farmers at their doorsteps. She was addressing a three-day 'Zonal Chief Conference', held here on Friday, disclose a bank's spokesperson.
A total of 31 zonal chiefs participated in the session. During the meeting, ZTBL President Roohi Raees Khan further advised for providing latest technologies to the farmers, such as drip and sprinkle irrigation system, bio-gas plant and solar energy-operated tube-wells. Provision of receiving Haj scheme applications, especially in the far flung and backward areas, was also stressed by the chief guest.
She further said that very soon all the branches of ZTBL would be brought online and in this way the most valuable foreign exchange earned by expatriate Pakistanis would reach its destiny very swiftly. The ZTBL President praised the leadership qualities of former president Chaudhry Muhammad Zaka Ashraf, which brought prosperity to the farmers.
"This is only the reason due to which during the last three years bank deposits risen from Rs 0.5 billion to Rs 10 billon and its profit has risen from one billion rupees to four billion rupees and such unprecedented deeds of former president ZTBL are worth to be written in golden words in the history of bank. A 25 percent rise in the salary of bank employees, and confirmation of work-charge bank employees have also been done on the event of ZTBL golden jubilee," she added. On the occasion, all zonal chief presented the progress of recoveries, disbursements, deposits and achievements of their targets.
