The University of Sindh (SU) has announced the admission to MA degree programme in Economics, Sindhi, English, Urdu, Islamic Culture disciplines under distance education for the session 2012 to improve the quality of education. The University of Sindh under its Faculty of Education started distance education from the year 2012.
The candidates appearing as external/private candidate in annual examinations will get registration under the distance and in first phase, the Education Faculty under distance programme has announced admissions to five disciplines of Economics, Sindhi, Urdu, English and Islamic Culture at the M.A. level. Admission forms will be issued with effect from February 11, from the Habib Bank Limited located at Faculty of Education, Elsa Kazi Campus Hyderabad. Last date for submission of admission forms has been fixed as March 30.
The candidates who wish to get admissions under distance programme can in-touch for further information and guidance from the centres which were established by colleges and schools located at Umerkot, Shahdadpur, Mithi, Nawabshah, Thatta, Khipro, Matli, Sanghar, Badin, Tando Adam and Mirpurkhas. The candidates having Bachelors degree in B.A., B.Sc. or B.Com with minimum 45 percent marks will be eligible for the admissions. It is mentioned that the Higher Education Commission has established Directorate of Distance Education in six public sector universities across Pakistan including the SU.
