Land records service centre begins work in Jehlum

The Land Record Management and Information Service Centre has also started its operation in Jehlum, a spokesman of Board of Revenue Punjab said on Thursday. After establishment of five Service Centres in tehsil Lahore, Kasur, Hafizabad, Pindi Bhattian and Lodhran.
Currently, the land records of two villages (Rukh Beli Peera Ghalib and Beli Balian) of tehsil Jehlum have been computerised and the services of issuance of computerised 'Fard' and Attestation of mutations are provided at service centre, he added.
According to him, the right holders will get efficient and transparent land records services through the service centre. Whereas, the data entry of rest of the villages in Jehlum is underway, which will be completed very soon thereby extending the computerised land records services throughout the district.
