Devotees on Wednesday took out a procession on Eighth Rabi-ul-Awal amid airtight security. The "Chup Tazia" procession started from Nishtar Park and concluded at Noor Bagh Musaffir Khana Moosa Lane. Special traffic arrangements were made to facilitate the procession movement. Traffic Police announced alternate routes for vehicular traffic during the procession.
The devotees were holding Alams in hands and were on foot to participate in procession. It passed through different routes including Nishtar Park/Shah Nawaz Bhutto Road, Father Jaminis road, M A Jinnah road, Mansfield Street / Preedy Street, M A Jinnah road, Boulton Market, Bombay Bazar, Market road, Mahabat Khanji road, Atma Ram Pritam Das road to Moosa Lane, Noor Bagh Musafir Khana where the procession terminated without any untoward incident.
