Petitioner seeks grant of a stay: LHC moved against Senate polls
1 min
A member of Lahore High Court Bar Association has moved the Lahore High Court, seeking the grant of a stay on the holding of upcoming Senate elections. Feroze Shah Gilani contended that the elections of national and all provincial assemblies were not genuine as these were held on the basis of fake and unverified votes.
He said the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) on July 4, 2011 had informed to the Supreme Court that here were 37,185,998 unverified votes in voter lists.
