The Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD) and Sri Lanka with joint efforts can play pivotal role in promoting the construction in both countries, D. W. Jinadasa, Consul General of Sri Lanka said on Tuesday. He was speaking in an interactive meeting, which was convened by ABAD in his honour at ABAD House. He said there has been a considerable increase in the trade between the two countries.
He recommended ABAD members to actively participate in the International Exhibition to be held in Sri Lanka in March this year. He added that the exhibition will provide excellent opportunities to share the expertise and joint ventures. He added that during the last three, four years the overall economy has geared up.
Chairman Mohsin Sheikhani presented an introduction of ABAD and said the trust and brotherly relations between our two countries provide a very solid base to build sound trade relations between Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Among other various economic sectors in which we can cooperate, the construction sector provides very vast opportunities to our Sri Lankan counterparts. Chairman ABAD offered that experienced Pakistani builders and developers can assist the Sri Lankan construction sector with their technical knowledge and expertise.-PR
