Conjoined babies die

Published Updated

New-born conjoined sisters, who were under the treatment in National Institute of Child Health (NICH) died on Sunday before the operation meant for their separation. "It was a complicated case and in such cases there is always a less possibility of twin's survival," a doctor said.
The twin sisters, conjoined at the chest and abdomen, were born in Sheikh Zayed Hospital Larkana last week and shifted to NICH on Saturday for operation. Medics said, the girls were shifted to ICU, but could not survive and died before their operation.
