A Sub Inspector was killed when some unidentified persons opened fires on a police mobile here on Sunday, police said. According to details, the incident occurred in the jurisdictions of Zarghun Abad police station where the miscreants targeted a police mobile. As a result, a Sub Inspector was killed on the spot.
Police registered a case against unidentified persons and started investigations into the incident.
