Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader from Jhang, Rana Atta Ullah Khan announced on Saturday to join Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI). He made announcement of his parting ways from the PPP and joining PTI at a press conference held at Lahore Press Club (LPC). He was accompanied by PTI Central leader Hamid Khan advocate, Ahsen Rasheed and Mian Muhammad Azhar.
Atta Ullah said that the performance of the PPP and its government especially in the financial sector had very much disappointed him. He said that he was associated with the party for the past seven years but the attitude of the party leaders was always pathetic.
He was of the view that the PTI leadership had lit a new candle of hope and he believed that it would bring basic reforms in financial sector and taxation system after reviewing the situation and put the country on the path of development and prosperity.
