Chairman Agri Forum Pakistan, Muhammad Ibrahim Mughal has slammed Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for not sending Agriculture Minister Malik Ahmad Ali Aulakh to Germany to attend International Green Week (IGW). Talking to a group of journalists on Saturday, he further said that although presence of the chief minister of Punjab during IGW was necessary to encourage exporters and producers but the participation of the Punjab agriculture minister was also very important.
The agri minister could provide proper information about Punjab's agriculture products in the exhibition, he added. Mughal further said that such practices or decisions create confusion among political workers. He said only those political figures follow such practices who did not believe in consultation. IGW is being held in Berlin during the last week of the current month and Punjab was going to attend with about 20 traceable agricultural and livestock products for the first time.
