On the instructions of Inspector General of Police of Punjab a high level committee has been constituted for the recovery of two foreigners kidnapped from Multan recently. According to an official handout, the committee will be headed by SSP (Operations) Azhar Ikram, whereas SP (CTD) Karamatullah Malik, SP (Investigation) Liaquat Cheema, SP (Cantt) Shehzad Asif and SP (Special Branch Qayyum Qaiserani Multan are member of the committee.
Inspector General of Police Punjab Javed Iqbal along with Home Secretary Shahid Khan, Additional IGP (CTC) Mushtaq Ahmed Sukhera, Regional Police Officer Multan Mubarak Ali Athar, City Police Officer, Muhammad aamir Zulfikar Khan, District Police Officer Muzaffargarh Munir Ahmed Zia Rao, Commissioner Multan Khurram Ali Agha, DCO Multan Zahid Akhtar Zaman, and Investigation experts visited the crime scene.
