The valley of Quetta on Saturday received first snowfall of the winter season, creating great excitement among the dwellers of the city. The provincial capital started receiving intermittent and light snow at about 11:45 am and continued falling with sporadically. The thrilled people came out of their houses to rejoice the snowfall, which the provincial capital received after span of one year.
The temperature dropped to minus 10 degree centigrade in Quetta soon after the snow fall. The jubilant youth were seen enjoying the snowfall on the roads and streets of the provincial capital. Met office has forecast more snowfall for Quetta and its adjoining areas for next 24 hours.
