A woman and her young daughter were gunned down here on Wednesday. According to police, Shabbir Ahmed s/o Ghulam Muhammd, resident of Jajja Abbasian barged into the house of Shamim Bibi w/o Rasheed Ahmed and resorted to indiscriminate firing. Shamim Bibi and her daughter Asma Bibi died on the spot while the killer fled from the scene. City police sent the bodies to Tehsil Headquarter Hospital for autopsy. A case was registered against accused Shabbir Ahmed.
