A car of Additional Secretary, Defence on Tuesday was snatched at gunpoint near NIPA roundabout in the limits of Gulshan Iqbal police station. According to police, Bashir Ahmad Abbasi, Additional Secretary, Defence, who went to NIPA to attend service course, lost his vehicle (GP-1730) at gunpoint.
They said that Abbasi in his statement informed police that two unknown armed riders snatched his vehicle and other valuables near NIPA roundabout when he was returning home after attending service course at NIPA. They said the case (31/12) was registered under section 396/24 against unknown culprits and initiated probe to recover the vehicle.
