Islamabad Police have arrested five persons from various areas of the city including two women thieves and recovered 10 wine bottles, two pistols and stolen items worth thousands of rupees from their possession, a police spokesman said on Saturday.
An Assistant Sub-Inspector, Muhammad Ashraf from Bhara Kau police station arrested Nasir Masih from `Mangu town' and allegedly recovered 10 wine bottles from him. ASI Zafar Iqbal from Tarnol police nabbed Sattar Khan for having two 30 bore pistols and Taj for having one 30 bore pistol. ASI Zafar Iqbal from Ramna police nabbed two women thieves Janat Bibi and Asia and recovered looted items worth thousands of rupees from their possession. SSP Islamabad, Muhammad Yousuf Malik has directed all police officials to further intensify vigilance against anti-social elements.
