TTP leader confessed to having killed son of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister
Chief of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan for Karachi, who was arrested last week by the Crime Investigation Department (CID) confessed to having killed the son of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Information Minister Iftikhar Ahmad.
According to police sources, the chief TTP Karachi Abdul Qayyum Mehsud was arrested along with three other accomplices namely Muhammad Sharif, Habib Mehsud and Usman and recovered two suicide jackets, two BM missiles, two rockets, four Kalashnikovs, six TT pistols and 200 bullets from them.
They said the detained persons, who got training from Waziristan, were involved in several high profile cases and added that the accused Qayyum during initial course of investigation confessed that he along his other accomplices struck the residence of KP's information minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain that claimed his life of his son.
