Small business was seen on the wholesale grain market on Saturday as leading buyers were on the sidelines due to little buying interest, dealers said. On the grams side bajra low type quality was higher by Rs 150 to Rs 2400 while the best type did not move any side at Rs 2800, other items maintained overnight levels during the day, they said.
On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh was up by Rs 50 to Rs 3050 and 3150, other items retained overnight levels, they said. On the seed counter cottonseed oilcake with bag low type shed Rs 100 to Rs 700 the best quality, however, gained Rs 50 to Rs 900, they said.
