Former President, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Iftikhar Ali Malik has urged Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to keep the condition of collecting NIC and NTN copies at the time of sale of goods to non-registered person and hold meeting with trade bodies on the issue.
He said that FBR has recently made it mandatory for the business community to collect NIC and NTN copies at the time of sale of goods to non-registered person which is impracticable. He said that traders and industrialists already confronting with number of serious problems including of load shedding, water shortage, low gas pressures and its shortage, high mark-up rates, kidnapping, law and other problems which has adversely affected business activates and now FBR imposed a condition which further slow down business activities. He suggested that FBR should hold meeting with representatives of FPCCI and sort-out an amicable solution of the issue.
