Jamshoro University professor: killers to be brought to justice: Mazhar

Sindh Senior Minister for Education, Pir Mazhar ul Haq on Tuesday assured the house during the Sindh Assembly session that the government would bring the killers of Director Students' Affairs Jamshoro University, Professor Bashir Channar to justice.
He lauded the slain academician for his services in the field of education in the province. He said Professor Channar had made big efforts to harmonise the university atmosphere with peace and academic activities. He said the Sindh government and Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali in particular taken a "serious" notice of the professor's murder. He said the Sindh government was apprehensive about the way he was assassinated inside the university premises by two unknown motorcyclists. He said that the Sindh government would take strict action against the perpetrators to bring them to justice. Earlier, the house offered prayer for the deceased academician's soul.
