SHO Hadiara was allegedly tortured to death by people at Gowind village of Hadiara here on Saturday. According to SP Cantonment Hashmat Kamal, SHO Mian Muhammad Arshad alongwith police party reached the spot on receiving call on 15 about land grabbing. Where the people got infuriated and started beating him up due to which he fell unconscious. He was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
