The newly elected Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, President, Pir Sabir Shah on Thursday said that party would be strengthen in entire province under his leadership, saying the stronger Pakistan Muslim League was essential for stable and united Pakistan.
He asked the workers to bring unity among their ranks to cope with growing challenges confronting the country, especially Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Speaking at news conference here at Peshawar Press Club on Thursday said that PML-N is a sole force to pull the country out from prevailing crisis. He maintained that conspires were hatched to weaken PML-N but workers would foil all kind of such attempts.
Accompanied by PML-N central leader, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, provincial General Secretary Rahmat Salaam, Senior Vice President, Anwar Kamal, he said that his party had played vital role for development and progress of the country. He stressed the need for strengthening party at levels, which was biggest challenge for him and entire cabinet. The provincial president said that they would launch party awareness and masses contacts campaign at Union Council, Tehsil and district level. For the purpose, he added that party convention would be held in the province.
"Our mission is to serve the poverty stricken people and take proactive steps for amicable solution of their problems facing in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa", he maintained. "We will protect ideological boundaries of the party and undermine all conspiracies hatched against it, he added.
He criticised that the government was not serious to take up issues of Mehran base, Nato troops air strike, US secret drone campaign and importantly memogate scandal. He called upon the all ideological political parties to work together for protection of borders of the country, saying that the country was facing enormous internal and external challenges. He said that PML-N President, Mian Nawaz Sharif had pointed wrong decisions made by different institutions. He said the Mian Nawaz Sharif is a symbol of federation.
