Four persons were killed in separate incidents in the metropolis, here on Saturday. According to police sources, a man killed his nephew at Rajput Colony in the limits of Sohrab Goth police station. Police said the accused Akbar along with his son Asghar reached the house of his nephew Abdul Rehman Domki, at Ayub Goth area, and opened indiscriminate firing on Domki. Both culprits managed to flee, while Domki succumbed to his injures on way to hospital.
Police said the deceased got engaged with the daughter of Akbar but a few days ago he tied the knot with some other girl, which infuriated the father of the girl who killed Domki. Police have registered an FIR and handed over the body to his family. In another incident, a security guard was gunned down at I.I Chundrigar Road in the limits of Mithadar police station.
Police said the victim, identified as Zafar Ali Shah and served as security guard in a commercial building at I.I Chundrigar Road, was sitting in the building where armed riders targeted him. They said the culprits managed to flee while victims died on the spot and his body was transported to Civil Hospital Karachi.
Police said the deceased, who hailed from Mardan, might have been killed over personal enmity and his body was handed over to the family after autopsy. A young man Kashif, 26, son of Hanif was shot dead in Mehran Chowk Malir in the precincts of Khokhrapar police station. The police said the victim, who was the resident of New Karachi, was targeted when he was standing at Dry Cleaner Shop situated at Mehran Chowk. They said the victim, who had some dispute with someone over money issue, might have been murdered over said issue. The body was shifted to JPMC for legal formalities and later handed over to his family.
A man was shot dead while offering resistance during robbery bid near Taj Mansion in the jurisdiction of Nabi Bux police station. The victim Saeed, 53 son of Maqsood, a resident of Sector 5 1/2 Korangi, was intercepted by robbers when he was on the way to home in his Hi-roof near Taj Mansion.
