As many as 500 students were awarded graduates degrees besides 74 gold medals and 74 silver medals in various disciplines at 4th convocation of Indus Institute of Education held at Karachi Expo Centre here on Saturday. The degrees were conferred in various disciplines including MBA, BBA, B.Com, B.Tech, B.Ed, and Fashion Textile.
Speaking at the occasion, Sindh Senior Minister for Education Pir Mazharul Haq, while addressing as a chief guest on the occasion, felicitated the passed students particularly gold medallists for the outstanding performance throughout their studies.
He said parents play a pivotal role in support of students in acquiring education not only in terms of money but also with their prayers. While advising the students, the senior minister noted that the world is full of challenges and those failed to meet the challenges are left behind.
Earlier Chairman Indus Institute of Higher Education Khalid Amin congratulated the graduating students, saying that students who have done graduation from Indus Institute are serving in various multinational organisations. He said after getting a degree, a plenty of opportunities are waiting for you to explore yourself. It is further said that we have an unprecedented potential in our nation and we need not to come under influence from anyone else.
