Crescent Model Higher School (CMHS), Shadman Colony Lahore organised a prize distribution ceremony here on Friday. Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran presided over the ceremony, while Chief Editor Daily Nation Majid Nizami, Chairman Crescent Education Trust Mian Muhammad Rafi, Secretary Zaheer A Sheikh, Advisor Shaukat Sultan, School Principal Muhammad Shakoor, teachers and a large number of students were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, VC Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran asked the students to do their work with sincerity, hard work and commitment. He said it was according to nature's law that a lion eats a deer and same rule also applied on human beings. A strong nation occupies a weak nation for its wealth. The nation is always dominant who studied the mysteries of universe and create new knowledge. He said knowledge was the power but unfortunately our governments did not focus on this. The governments must patronize education and allocate at least four percent of its GDP for education. Lack of education was the root cause of all problems and issues in the country. He advised the students to do PhD in their subjects.
