The Israeli military has detained one of the main leaders of the Palestinian militant movement Islamic Jihad, a Palestinian security source said on Saturday. Khodr Adnan, 40, a former spokesman for the radical group, was seized overnight at Araba near the town of Jenin, in an autonomous Palestinian zone in the north of the occupied West Bank.
An Israeli military unit grabbed him from his home as soldiers searched his bakery nearby.
