At least four persons including a minor girl were fallen prey to targeted killing spree in separate incidents at various parts of the metropolis here on Saturday. According to details, a 10-year old girl was shot dead by her tuition fellow in the remits of Sir Syed police station.
Police said Misbah daughter of Imran and Hammad were reached tuition center located in the same locality of 11-A where Hammad pulled out his father pistol and suddenly shot Misbah. She was taken to the hospital where doctors pronounced her death. Police said that the child fired the bullet was also underage and incident had committed mistakenly while police took Hammad into custody. No case was registered till filling of this report.
A teenager lost his lives by stray bullet in the limits of Sohrab Goth police station. Police said the victim Noor-ul-Haq 18, who hailed from Swat, was standing at the rooftop of his house when a stray bullet hit him. Resultantly, he received fatal bullet wound and succumbed to his injures during treatment. Later, police handed over the body to the family after autopsy and registered the case against unknown culprits.
A bullet-riddled body of a man, who was kidnapped on Friday, was found in the remits of Sohrab Goth police station. Police said the deceased Farooq Jamil and Irfan were on their way to home when gunmen resorted firing and left wounded Irfan while abducted Jamil. The wounded Irfan was admitted to the hospital while gunmen threw the body of Jamil at Sukhya Goth the place from where he was kidnapped.
Police suspected that he might have been murdered over personal enmity. Police nominated Amir and his unknown accomplices in an FIR lodged on complaint of wounded Irfan. A security guard of private company was shot dead at Gulshan-e-Mazdoor in the limits of Saeedabad police station.
Police said the deceased Abdul Rasheed, who was employed at a mobile company's tower, was targeted when he was sitting outside the tower. Resultantly, he received multiple shots and died on spot. The body was shifted to the hospital for autopsy and later handed over to the family. A case was registered against unknown armed riders.
