KESC centres' water disconnected

Site Ltd has disconnected the water connection of four centres of Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) for non payment of its Rs 10 million dues. In a statement, the authority claimed that the KESC was a defaulter of Site Ltd and it had to pay Rs 7.62 million in respect of Road Cuttings, Rs 2.64 million on Rent, Water Conservancy and Penalties and Rs 1.24 million on Damages of Fiber Optical Cables during road cuttings.
Deputy Chief Engineer of SITE Ltd Abdul Malik Bhatti said that the KESC had damaged the infrastructure of Site many times during road cuttings without NOC.-PR
