Air Marshall Noor Khan (R) passes away

Noor Khan, the former commander-in-chief of Pakistan Air Force passed away Thursday in Rawalpindi, a private TV channel reported. He was admitted to Combined Military Hospital on December 12 and was suffering from anaemia and chest infection. According to the channel, Noor Khan was the Pakistan Air Force Commander-in-Chief from 1965 to 1969.
He was also appointed Governor West Pakistan in August 1969. He was also associated with sports of the country and remained cricket board president from 1980 to 1984. He was also part of the organising committee of the 1987 World Cup and was credited with bringing some of the World Cup matches to Pakistan.
