At least two persons including a minor boy were fallen prey to targeted killing spree in separate incidents at various parts of the metropolis, here on Thursday. According to police and rescue sources, a bullet-riddled tortured body of twelve-year-old boy was found in the bushes located near National Highway.
They said the victim, who was later identified as Khan, 12 son of Bawand Khan, was recovered in the limits of steel town police remits. Police said the body, which was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), had several torture marks. No case was registered till filing of this report.
Separately, a 40-year-old woman was shot dead at her house in the limits of Zaman Town police precincts. The victim, who was identified as A wife of Abdul Shakoor, was targeted in her house located in Korangi sector 50C. Police said the deceased woman received multiple gunshots and succumbed to her injuries on the spot. Police suspected that she might have been murdered over personal dispute. Further investigation was underway.
