SPM Stags beat SPM Bucks by 44 runs in the first Lahore Veteran Champion League played at Ali Garh Cricket Ground Model Town on Tuesday. Batting first, SPM Stags scored 211 runs in 30 overs. Kamran Khan with 63 runs, Zahoor Ilahi 53, whereas Javeed Butt 2/36, Nadeem Baig 2/39, Javeed Khan 2/35 and Muhammad Shahbaz 1/27 were the main bowlers of SPM Bucks.
In reply, SPM Bucks were all out for 167 in 28.1 overs. Khawaja Naseer-ud-din 2/27, Zahoor Ilahi 2/32, Amer Nazir 2/25, Zia-ud-din 2/16 and Shakeel Malik 2/27 were the bowlers of SPM Stags. At the conclusion of the match, chief guest Azmat Puri gave away man of the match award to Zahoor Ihali.
