Home minister for completing on-going projects

Sindh Home Minister, Manzoor Hussain Wassan, has called for accomplishing the near-completion projects halted owing to stoppage of funds. Chairing a meeting here on Saturday, he said that such projects should be completed on priority basis. The meeting was also attended by Additional Chief secretary Home, Wasim Ahmed, Inspector General of Police Sindh, Mushtaq Shah, and senior police officers attended the meeting.
The Minister directed that residential barrack for 600 jawans at headquarters Karachi and the residential scheme at Mirpurkhas be completed at the earliest so that with a small amount of fund these stalled schemes be made serviceable. At the meeting it was decided that the vehicles under use of police for more than 10 years be disposed of through open auction by placing advertisement in major newspapers and that the process be kept transparent.
