Maryam Nawaz, daughter of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Chief Nawaz Sharif on Saturday inaugurated Out Patient Department (OPD-Evening) at Ganga Ram Hospital. Talking to reporters she said the Punjab government was working for the welfare of the masses and the launch of the OPD-Evening at Ganga Ram Hospital would go a long way in providing health facilities to the masses, she said.
She said the Punjab government had taken various initiatives in health sector to provide quality health services to the people. She also prayed for good health of President Zardari. Responding to a question, she said she had not so far decided to contest the election. However, she said she has entered into politics to help her father, as her siblings were abroad. "I will visit every nook and corner of the country for the resolution of problems being faced by the countrymen," she said. To another query, Maryam said the PML-N was not afraid of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). "Youths were with the PML-N and in future they would support her party," she said.
