Aussie, New Zealand dollars fall

The Australian and New Zealand dollars fell to fresh one-week lows in choppy trade on Friday as markets reacted to a flurry of headlines on a crucial EU summit aimed at resolving the region's debt crisis. The Aussie fell as far as $1.0090, from $1.0173 late in New York. Stop-loss selling were triggered when it broke below Thursday's low at $1.0145.
It last stood at $1.0117, down about 1.2 percent on the week. Immediate support was seen at $1.0077, the base of the daily Ichimoku cloud. Earlier, the kiwi barely reacted to New Zealand data pointing to an uneven recovery that may be aided by the central bank's benign rate policy.
