Sugar purchase: LHC asks TCP to file reply

The Chief Justice of Lahore High Court directed Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) to file a reply by December 22 in an application praying to restrain TCP from purchasing sugar from open marker at the rate of Rs 63 to 65 per Kg. The applicant, Chairman Judicial Activism Muhammad Azhar Siddique, filed this application as an addendum to an already pending constitutional petition against black marketing, profiteering and hoarding of sugar.
