Exhibition of Indian films: LHC issues notices to Centre, Censor Board

The Lahore High Court (LHC) here on Friday issued notices to federal government and Pakistan film censor board in a writ petition seeking ban on exhibition of Indian films in Pakistan and sought reply within fortnight. A local film producer Kamran Ijaz filed the petition and pleaded that the exhibition of Indian films had pushed the local film industry on the verge of collapse.
He said if the exhibition of Indian films was not stopped the film industry of Pakistan would collapse entirely.
