Clarifying a news report regarding Shahbaz airbase, a spokesman of the Ministry of Defence said on Thursday that Shahbaz airbase was already under Pakistan Air Force (PAF) control. In a statement issued here, spokesman said the news report attributed to Federal Minister of Defence Chaudhary Ahmad Mukhtar regarding control of Shahbaz airbase was baseless.
"The Defence Minister had stated that Shahbaz airbase was totally under PAF control and the US has not any control over it," he said.
